BIOGRAPHIY

Alicia Lehmann, born in 2001, is a professional dancer and artist from Switzerland. She resides in Rheinfelden, a small city near to Basel and is also based currently in London.

As a child, Alicia discovered her passion for dancing as soon as she started to walk. At the age of five she took her first dance lessons, enrolling in Jazz, followed by Ballet and Contemporary in the studio of Tanz-Atelier Claudine in Rheinfelden. Alicia grew as a dancer and trains nationally in Switzerland, and abroad.

At the age of sixteen, Alicia started an apprenticeship at the “Dance Emotion Academy - Freiburg Akademie für Tanz”, Germany. There she studied pedagogy and contemporary stage dance with focus on Jazz. During her time in Freiburg, Alicia focused her technique as well as on jumps and turns. Through her training, she has gained much experience performing on stage, and through projects and competitions.

Besides her work as a professional dancer on stage, she teaches dance and is trainer of duos, groups and teams for different dance directions.

Alicia’s movement vocabulary includes: Jazz (Lyrical-, Funk- and Street-), Commercial, Contemporary and Modern (Limon and Horton) as Ballet (Vaganova technic), Hip Hop (Hip Hop and House) and Danceacrobatics. Alicia is best known for her dynamic and powerful movement. She alights energy that can fill an entire stage. She is expressive and loves to express feelings, emotions and the music through her body.

Her greatest passion is dancing and everything to do with it. She is always open to new experiences and challenges, because that is how she grows and she`s willing to grow.
